SOTA Goat is an essential tool for participants of the Summits On The Air amateur radio program. It serves as a comprehensive summit database and spotting application, providing valuable features for summit activators to plan and execute their activations effectively.

Users can benefit from the offline summit database, allowing for easy access to information on every summit in the SOTA database. Additionally, features like downloading updates, starring favorite summits, and exporting summit data enhance the usability of the app.

SOTA Goat also offers SOTAWATCH3 spots and alerts functionality, enabling users to view, add, and modify spots and alerts from SOTAwatch3. Push notifications can be enabled for timely updates on new activations, with customizable filtering options.

The app includes a summit tracker with an integrated compass feature to help users determine when they are within the activation zone. SOTA Goat is a universal app compatible with iOS 11+ devices, ensuring accessibility across various Apple platforms.

Overall, SOTA Goat is a practical tool for both Mountain Goats and Shack Sloths participating in the Summits On The Air program, providing essential features to support successful summit activations.
